 Les Boys tackle the competition

Les Boys at the official residence of the Canadian AmbassadorThe Masters World Hockey Championships were held in Helsinki in April. This year, Hull-Ottawa's very own Les Boys came to Finland to test the competition in the 60 years+ category which also included teams from Finland and Norway. The competition was fierce by all accounts, but Les Boys had a great time and survived! Les Boys were 1-4 in the tournament and Superstars from Tampere were the eventual winners.

Canadian Ambassador Adele Dion invited Les Boys to a reception at the official residence on Wednesday, April 17. Special guests included former NHL'ers Jari Kurri, Esa Tikkanen, Cristian Ruuttu and several officials from the Finnish Ice Hockey Federation. Les Boys captain Martti Lahtinen was featured in an article in the April 18 edition of Helsingin Sanomat.
