 2003 Canada Day Summer Party

Who were all those happy Finnish-, English- and French-speaking people at Uunisaari on June 29 last summer? They were members of the Finnish-Canadian Society, enjoying the 2003 Canada Day Summer Party at one of the most beautiful seaside locations in Helsinki!

We were delighted that so many members were able to attend the happy get-together, even though the event was held in the middle of the summer holiday season. Amidst the beautiful scenery of Uunisaari, we enjoyed a nice brunch and beverages in each other's company, and as the event drew to a close, it seemed no one wanted it to end.

The Society's Board would like to thank all those who participated in making this such a wonderful and warm-spirited occasion. We look forward to seeing you all again at future events—perhaps at the next Finnish-Canadian Society Summer Party in 2004!
